Chuck your money this way

No, not at me.  At Bailey.

As you know, I’ve been wondering what people do when they’ve no money to pay for an experience like mine.  We have the NHS but still its not cheap.  Suddenly cabs are required to travel, meals have to be sought out for days you can’t cook, and so on.  And I don’t have three kids (or whatever) to pay for.  Anyway, I stumbled across this blog this morning.

Bailey had a vertebral dissection that wasn’t initially diagnosed, and she was almost sent home.  Sound familiar?   Anyway, they have medical insurance but, being in the US, there are loads of incidentals.  So they are doing a fundraising by organizing a spaghetti night.  I don’t think you can go to the spaghetti night, as it’s a bit far away, but if you have a paypal account, you should feel free to send something their way.  A few $5 and $10 dollar donations would add up, and Paypal converts to £ for you.

Have a read and see what you think.  The donate button is half way down on the left.

:-)

And – do you like listening to audio books so far? I find it really relaxing, much more than watching telly….

I know the feeling. I usually listen for shorter bits at a time. When I am “in training” (e.g. when I had time to listen every night) I could do longer chunks…
